Multi-Material Integration for Lightweight Structural Requirements in Imaging Equipment
FuJia Metal has developed a professional-grade camera gimbal structure for the imaging industry, integrating multiple materials with precision manufacturing to meet key demands for high rigidity, dimensional stability, low noise, and long service life.
The housing is made from 5052-H32 aluminum alloy, offering excellent formability and stability. After surface treatment, it is finished with a wear-resistant coating to improve durability and corrosion resistance. The inner bore achieves a precision grind to a concentricity of 0.050 mm, with tolerances of +0.001"/–0.000" and perpendicularity within ±0.002", ensuring smooth rotational positioning.
The pivot section uses powder metallurgy copper-alloy bushings for self-lubrication and low-friction performance, delivering smooth motion and high wear resistance. The connecting shaft is made from 17-4PH precipitation-hardened stainless steel, combining high tensile strength with corrosion resistance for stable long-term performance.
Assembly maintains ±5 µm precision alignment, ensuring industrial-grade structural rigidity and vibration control. Designed for applications in high-end imaging systems, the gimbal delivers both “silent operation” and “high positional stability”, meeting the demands of professional cinematography.
